Firearm Purchase and Transfer Guidelines

We sincerely appreciate your business and patience as we adhere to strict procedures for purchasing and transferring firearms. As a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer, we prioritize compliance with ATF regulations to ensure a safe and legal process for all involved. Below are the essential rules and requirements:

1. 4473 Form:

• All Firearm purchases, whether made in-house or transferred, will involve completing the ATF form 4473. This form collects necessary information for background checks and record-keeping.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: Buyers must be 21 years of age or older to purchase firearms.

• Location: We do not sell firearms to residents of California, Illinois, New York, or Washington DC.

• License: Curio or relics licenses are not accepted.

3. For Local buyers online:

• For local buyers making online purchases, visit Ron Stricker's Auction at 790 N. Center St., Gardner, KS to complete the 4473 form for the NICS e-check.

• If approved, the firearm will be released immediately.

• If delayed, pickup will be allowed upon approval.

• If denied, a refund will be issued (minus a $50.00 charge).

4. For In-House Buyers:

• Kansas Residents in-house buyers may take all firearms home once paid in full and have cleared the NICS e-check.

• Out-of-state in-house buyers may take long guns home once paid in full and have cleared NICS e-check.

• Out-of-state in-house buyers purchasing handguns must transfer to an FFL licensed dealer or be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer once paid in full, including shipping charges.

5. For Local buyers online:

• For local buyers making online purchases, visit Ron Stricker's Auction at 790 N. Center St., Gardner, KS to complete the 4473 form for the NICS e-check.

• If approved, the firearm will be released immediately.

• If delayed, pickup will be allowed upon approval.

• If denied, a refund will be issued (minus a $50.00 charge).

6. Out-of-State Buyers:

• Long guns or handguns purchased by out-of-state residents will be transferred to an FFL dealer of your choice.

• The chosen FFL dealer must approve and be willing to accept the license transfer.

• The buyer will need to complete the 4473 form for any transferred firearm.

7. FFL Copies:

• Out-of-State buyers: Please ensure your chosen FFL provides copies of their FFL to Ron Stricker's Auction no later than Thursday, September 19th.

• FFLs should email the copies to ron.stricker@yahoo.com

8. Charges:

• Live On-Line buyers will incur the following charges:

  • 15% Buyers premium​

  • Purchase amount - Buyers will be charged the night of the auction for the firearm purchase.

  • ALL shipping charges will be charged separately, buyers will be contacted to collect their credit card information and to authorize shipping charges as a second transaction prior to shipping.​​

  • Live In-House Buyers will incur the following charges

    • 10% Buyers premium.​

9. Shipping:

• Once your payment clears, we will promptly ship the firearm to your chosen FFL dealer.
